Tomorrow I should be able to hang the front sheet metal. I still need to figure out the missing vacuum line, but it won't stop me working on other items.

By now I'm intrigued about the mysterious vacuum port---PCV seems plausible.

I'm a bit shocked someone in the V10 forums haven't ID'd it yet.

I remember plugging in the PCV line, if I'm not mistaken it comes off the rubber boot that attaches to the throttle body before the air cleaner housing. I'm going to find the vacuum canister this morning, try and snap a picture.

It was a vacuum line from the canister.

I found the missing line hiding among the coil packs. Now it's connected!

I installed some sheet metal them radiator and oil coolers. Just need grill, headlights and bumper to finish off the front.

Should be loading the rest of the fluids Monday.

I was just looking at my last picture, the radiator look HUGE! Looks like the front end of a Mack truck!

My goal for today is to finish flushing the a/c lines, button up the front end sheet metal, trim and top off all the fluids. If I have time I want to vacuum the a/c system.

We will do the a/c charge in the shop, its very nice in there. My brother and I got the a/c system totally flushed, changed all the O-rings, added Pag 46 oil and vacuumed it. Gauges are holding near 30 hg steady when we left. Put the tranny oil in but ran out of time to do the engine coolant. Wednesday will move the van to the other side of the shop where we can vent the exhaust outside.

Since I am a resident of the same county.

I believe jimandnena was referring to your workshop. (not the AC in the van) Is the workshop air-conditioned? Because it is a bit krispy outside.

And for those playing at home, it is cooling down a bit. Only 111 today.

Yes, we are working in an air conditioned shop. This was last Sunday!

Stopped by the shop this morning to get my laptop. Cleaning crew was there, no work today. I check the vacuum reading on the gauges in my van and the system is holding great at nearly 30hg. I think that is good for almost 24hrs after I turned the vacuum pump off.

Great vacuum reading for the AC system!

My Navigator posted a similar outside temp yesterday on my drive home. And sure beats Death Valley temps today at 120 or 49C for those of you to the North. Which is a tad cooler than the weekend for all of us.
