If it is a dead spot on the armeture, should i just break down and purchase a new motor? If so, is there a better place to buy one than the local ford dealership? 281.00 bucks
That i dont know, places like JC Whitney have all the window motors and door lock actuatuors, you may want to try a salvage yard, I would also call you local parts store lots of times if they stock it, they can get it from a remanufacture for less than new, especialy from a dealer. DW
I agree w/RV...they'll even ck the whole thAng from connector to motor; and prob the ckt from the dash switch down.
Est cost here in NJ at an auto electric shop is $138.00 (not an exchange or rebuilt at a "factory")
