Hello I am rebuilding my carter yfa one barrel carburetor and I can't figure out how to orient the metering rod spring on the metering rod. When I took the carb apart it was missing the spring so I had to order one. Does anybody have a close up picture of the metering rod or can someone walk me though it.
I'm in the same boat that you were in. What did you do with the short end of the spring? I still can't figure out where it goes even after looking at the photos and diagrams.
