OBD-1 KOER code 623 question
OBD-1 KOER code 623 question
Vehicle: 1994 F250 HD 4X4 w/ a 460 and E4OD
Performed a KOER test to see if any other codes came up about the trans. My trans goes into "safe mode" and kicks and I get code 628(I think) which is excessive TC clutch slippage. When doing the test I got code 632(Torque Converter Solenoid Circuit Did Not Change States During KOER). Should the TC solenoid circuit change during the test? If it should have and didn't then I'm thinking this may be causing my code 628 but I'm not a trans tech so in asking here. If not then a new TC for me then.
Also what torque converter should I buy? And for how much? I'd like to spend under $200 but at this point I know what I like and get aren't always the same lol. Thanks
