I want 33's
I recently purchased a 2000 Ranger 4x4 4.0L XLT . I am going to be doing on and off-road driving and wanted to put 33" mud tires on my truck. My question is how much of a lift am I going to need to clear these tires. Also do you have any suggestions on what type of tires I should purchase(preferably m/t's). ?....Any suggestions and feed back would be greatly appreciated! Thank You!!!

Your'e probably gonna need a four inch kit. I'm running 32s on my '98 right now with no lift but I have the torsion bars maxxed out. I don't get any scrubbing but the tires are a tight fit and anything bigger would require a gear change too. I have 32X10.50 Swamper TSL Radials on 8" aluminum wheels. With 3.73 gears, this is all that little truck can handle.
