I am wanting to get a drive shaft made but was told I needed to change out the pinion yoke first, anyone else run into this problem. to this type and remove the original round disc
I'm not sure why you would have to change out the yoke on a custom made shaft. I am using a 4x4 Chevy 2500 shaft with Ford OEM yokes on each end. I went to the skf website and cross referenced the joint cap sizes I needed in their catalog
I guess I posted prematurely, I just talked with a guy here in town that has the same basic set up as I do and where he ordered one from. Mine is being shipped out Monday.

I used one of these. then the rear u joint that I had with the Ford 9" worked with the Ford 8.8". I had to have the shaft shorten a bit.
