decoding an axle tag
ok got a tag off the axle of my 94 F150 4X4.

3L55 88 3L15
what does it all mean?
the axle dropped 3 teeth off the ring gear cracked the housing at the pinion bearing....so i need to find a new(good used) complete axle....need to understand the gear ratios...any one help me?
P.S. got a good used rear end handy??
