I'm picking up my 4th bronco on Saturday. No I don't still have any of the others but I apparently can't stay away. I've been building a 351w and finally found a bronco to drop it into
Thanks. I'm not real sure about the heads, but they are aluminum and believe they are pro comp 2.02 intake valves and 1.89 exhaust. Really not sure.
Hyd roller, cam is 264/270 with .544 lift. Cast iron lower intake, and an explorer 5.0 upper with throttle body. This is my first "performance" build so im just having fun with it. Still need roller rockers, push rods, and studs but other than that it's abour ready. I have a cold air intake as well for it(and yes I know they are typically useless, but it looks pretty). Can't wait to see how it turns out. The 351 that's currently in the bronco will be pulled, and maybe I'll find something else to stick it in.
Cast iron lower and Explorer upper? I assume the lower is a stock 5.8L EFI version? I was not aware it would mate to a 5L upper. If it is the stock 5.8L lower then you are really leaving a lot on the table. It's a boat anchor.

It's off a marine 351, so it's not exactly the same as factory
