'92 XLT vs Custom?
What was included in the XLT trim as opposed to my Custom trim? I noticed I have no under-hood light, no buzzer indicating my lights are on or door is open, the bench seat is different, and of course the obvious (exterior trim, pwr windows/locks/seats). What else was there??? Was the under-hood light and buzzer included with the XLT trim? Thanks for any help

Custom was your basic bare bones work truck. XL became the base model in 1993. XLT included such things as a cloth seat, cruise, tilt, air, pwr windows/locks, cassette, map lights, underhood light, chrome grille, etc., and yes the underhood light and door open/lights-on buzzer.

mainly the difference is packages. Convience package, etc. Compare a XLT to your Custom. Like the above post, the custom was eliminated for 1993. There was two different ordering codes for such packages. The top was 507A for quite a few years. You could get a XLT without power windows. There's a couple of members with trucks that way.
Instead of a buzzer it's a bell.
