Dash Trim Kits

I would like to install a wood dash trim kit in my 2003 F-150. Anyone have suggestions on what to look for, installation tips and what to avoid?

Hi james and welcome to FTE

Hopefully someone here has installed a dash kit and will be able to help. I've always wondered how well they fit, do they look added on etc.

The pictures always look good in the ads, but so do fast food ads!No luck so far on any replies.

Dash Trim Kits

If you get the instrument cluster overlay, be carefull not to let the trim get in the way of guage needles. I have had several come into the shop complaining of gauges that wont work, only to find that their woodgraid cluster overlay was the problem. They come in expecting a warranty repair and are sad to find it is a retail repair from thier pocket.
