WTB: factory chrome bullbar/pushbar

Back in the 80s my uncle had my 84 f150 all jacked up and it had a chrome bullbar. I really like the look of these and want to get another. All of the lights, chrome pieces, and lift were taken off. If you know of anyone who has them for sale let me know. I added a picture of my truck when it was lifted so you can see the push/bullbar I am looking for. Thanks!

That was OEM? I might imagine it as a dealer option. But factory?

Dealer usually works with a local aftermarketer. Just look for a Westin or other brand; your most likely source with be CL, classifieds sections of the truck forum sites, swap meets, etc.

That was definitely not a factory option.

It was for sale through LMC for the longest time, but they took it away before I could order a brand new one. Luckily my old truck that I sold came with one on it:

I took it off before I sold the truck thankfully, and it'll be going on my new project when i'm done building it.

Yeah, I saw your truck when I was searching. Sucks that LMC does not have it. I called them and they told me flat out no they dont have it. When I told the guy pushbar or bullbar he thought I said bushbar or pullbar. I mean come on! Also called a local GIANT salvage lot and they said they didnt carry anything that old! If it was off an 86 it would only be 30 years old! Its not like they arent on the road! I saw one 82-86 parked by me at my school and another (nice) one driving by while I was at baseball practice!

Ebay Ebay Ebay. That's all I can say, it took me close to four years searching before I found a guy in Rhode Island on ebay that had a new in box push bar. He had a buy it now price on ebay of $220. If you are going to search don't forget to search for Rally, this is the brand mine is and even came with the flap of the box indicating what it fits, search for the 80-86 Broncos as well as this fits thoses as well obviously.

Do you know what the full rally name is? Every time I look up 1980-86 rally pushbar/bumper/bullbar/etc. it only comes up with rally car/truck modern bumpers.

The box says "Rally Grill Guard" is what the box says, this is not marketed by Rally as a push bar but a grill guard.

This is the one I received, down side is the bolts that holds the tubes on got lost in shipping as the box fell apart in shipping. Had to use some 1/2-20 stainless steel bolts instead.

The other option you have is to make one of your own. It wouldn't be too hard for a fabricator to weld one up and then you get it chrome plated to your own desire. If wanted, I could take measurements for you?

The only things welded is the tabs for the lights and the threaded inserts in the ends of the tubes. The side plates are bolted to the tubes.

That's odd, because mine is welded:

Yours looks more like an actual pushbar with the frame mount, the one I have which bolts together and marketed as a grill guard uses the four bumper bolts to hold it to the truck. Nothing wraps around under the bumper to the frame.

Measurements

Bump for measurements - I'd be very interested if one of you would be willing to do measurements and maybe a template / drawing
of the vertical pieces

Another option might be...look into "crash bars" designed for PS vehicles, such as the P71, the Explorer and the Expedition. They will be black powder coated but with a little effort, could be worked into a chrome option.
