hood stack
I was just wondering if hood stacks are illegal in Wisconsin. If they are, what kinda fine are you looking forward to? I would love to this my truck in the future, so I'm just looking for possible violations in the future. THX

In most states you are not allowed to modify the exhaust. I know most remove the cats and stuff like that but pipes sticking out of the hood is a sure ticket. They may be able to tow the truck if they want. I wouldn't do that.

I would check with the local authorities or the place that does your vehicle inspections(if required). Tennessee doesn't require inspections and I see them with hood stacks all over the place there, but Virginia will give you a ticket for having turn downs just past the muffler(found that out the hard way).
