After 280,000 miles on my 1997 EB 4x4 Expo I just bought a 2014 2wd XLT with 20K miles. It is very nice, but the steering is much different than my old Expo. One item that I have noted is that it seems to have almost no return to center after making a corner. Also very sensitive when driving down the road. Does anyone else have the same feeling?
Also, it seems to get blown all over the road, by truck passing, cars passing, etc.
I never had any issue like this on my old unit. I have not had the wheels aligned or any mods, yet!
+1 on the wheel alignment. I don't have either of those issues.
As to the vehicle getting blown all over the road, I don't have that issue either. At 6,200 lbs empty, it takes a really strong crosswind to move my truck in the slightest despite being considerably higher than my last SUV.
