Heres My update so far, was giving a rigid 30" lightbar by my neighbor and it was to small to put on the top, plus im going to put a 50" curve lightbar up top so i went for it, and put it in my hood, drilled the holes did some cutting under the hood then i put some sealer down and patched it up well and the top holes i put some seal down before bolting it so there wouldnt be any leaks..i Like the way jeep had LED Pods on the front so i tried it out, and it just so happy to be so perfect mounting spots on the 200 excursion i wanted them slanted to give it more of the batman look, ill update later when i get the curve for the roof. And i also put the lights on a wireless remote i got from Auto-zone cost $10 and it can be used to up to 50ft so i dont have to be in my truck to turn the lights on.....Also i decided to gut out and re-paint the entire back so i took all the plastic paneling out, including the carpet cause i didnt want the carpet i wanted bare metal so i could do some spray on bedliner make make it more of a truck bed look and feel, did the plastic black and red and my stereo box and to cover those holes in the back where the 3rd row seat goes i just got some metal brackets that they use for wood building, and used some liquid nail type epoxy and it created a strong bond before i sprayed bedliner...came out how i wanted it, so im happy, just wanted to get your guys opinions, and maybe some new ideas, and give you guys an update...
Just FYI, that lightbar placement will most likely jack up your eyes if you try to use the light for its purpose because it will glare too much off of your hood.
OOOOH Yah !!
How about blacking out ALL the windows (even the windshield) except for 18" round 'peep holes'. Have a peep hole in each window so from inside the vehicle, it looks like you're looking out from a Batcave !!
You got some cool holes in the rear doors from the stock badges; they kinda look like bullet holes !
How about drilling a butt-load more of 'em (like 4 or 5 hundred more) in bitchin patterns like the bad guys were shootin' at ya with machine guns !
Don't worry about paint- as each hole rusts, it'll look like Blood comin' out !
Use a Sawzall to cut a 4 foot by 3 foot hole in the roof. That way, when you see some scoundrels grabbing an old ladies purse, you aren't hindered by having to open the door- you can just jump right out and Clobber 'em ! Biff ! Pow !
That would also allow room for a retractable rocket launcher to pop up and fire when the Bat-Poop really comes down !
When was the last time you drove it ?? & why is the sticker from 2 years ago still on ?? What part in TX ?? Please add general local to your profile so I don't have to ask again.
Looking at the speakers all I can hear in my head is the song:
actually thought about adding a rocket launcher walt with missles that would seek and destroy trolls, wouldnt that be amazing walt? and the batmobile is built to take damage and look beat up so your right the rust would be an amazing touch walt..good looking out
i drive it everyday the sticker is a few months old i know i actaully just got the inspection done yesterday i was waiting untill i got everything done on it before inspspection so ill know whats legal and whats not but it all passed

actually there is absolutely no glare at all, its just the right height, have been using out on the farm
Very hard to believe this, especially with a white truck. It looks like a large amount of the light from all of those LEDs would be hitting the white on the hood and throwing A LOT of light back at your eyes.
Do you have a night time picture with the lights on to demonstrate the lack of glare from the driver's seat? I've seen some pics from the driver's seats of rigs with roof mounted lights that had serious glare issues as well as pattern cutoff issues due to the front clip blocking the light pattern on the ground in front of the truck. Your light location looks like it would amplify that pattern problem. I would be very interested to see what you see from the seat in the dark with the lights mounted as they are.
To each their own man, if YOU like it then that is all that counts. I doubt you'll get too much love here with these cosmetic modifications.
Here is an idea, why not plastidip the truck black? Some limo tint and maybe LED back lighting behind the batman symbol on the grille. Now THAT would be a real BATMOBILE.
