power steering questions

Couple of '67-'72 questions here...........first off, will '73-'79 PS boxes fit?? They look real similar and I believe they have a C7 casting ##. Secondly, will a '67-'72 F100 PS box fit a '67-'72 F350?? I've got a friend w/ a sweet '67 F350 wanting a PS box. Would he have to modify the column any??

No, he wouldn't have to do any mods at all. The Ford 68-79 p/s box will fit with all 68-79 p/s columns with a/t. Columns with the Bendix p/s box or manual steering were about four inches longer.

power steering questions

MK,

Any chance my manual steering column in the 67 will be the right length for the Bendix steering unit out of my 69? Not sure I'll ever get the column from the 69 back together, I got it in so many pieces :-)
