How to replace pedestool o-rings

My 1999 F-350 7.3 is leaking from the turbo pedestool o-rings, from what my mechanic tells me. I would like to do this myself as it does not seem overly hard. This is my first diesel truck and am not quit sure how to do it. Would somebody mind giving me instructions or pointers on the process? I am a decent mechanic, but just have no clue on diesel engines and hoping to learn.

They look like the right ones but you need 2 sets. There is a set on top of the pedestal where the turbo mounts to it and a set under the pedestal where it mounts to the eng block.

These are the ones you want. You are best to stay off eBay and those type sellers. For less than they are charging for 2 you can get all 4 in the link above. Plus you wouldn't be happy to tear everything apart and find out you didn't have them all. This is why we try and support companies like dieselorings and Riffraff Diesel. They actually know what and why they are selling it and can walk you through it. Here are instructions but I am sure if you call Clay @ Riffraff Diesel he can answer any questions you have.

thanks guys I have ordered the kit from riffraff diesel and cancelled the ebay order. Those instructions seem to explain it pretty good and does not seem very challenging. I will keep everybody posted as i attempt it this weekend

it's pretty straight forward. Recommend soaking down all clamps with penetrating oil for a day or two before to make it easier to get apart. cover your intake holes once the tubes are off to keep from dropping hardware in the engine. you will have fun when putting the clamp on the adapter at the back of the turbo. many have found that after it kicks their rear it's best to walk away for a little bit then come back and try again. hopefully you'll be one of the few that have it just fall into place but don't be surprised if it fights you.
