Is that cloth accent above the arm rest (first link) really an OEM trim piece? I have never seen that before.... anybody here able to confirm that? Ever see one before?
The door panels in the last link have some exceptionally nice condition woodgrain trim. Very nice offerings... All of them.

Yes, it is OEM. Member Fordzilla had a similar piece above his door handle, but his was vinyl, to match his vinyl seat.
I *think* those trim pieces were only used for the 1980 model. And I *think* the ones in the first link are from a 1980 "Explorer" trim level truck. VERY rare.

I'm guessing you are right. As you can see here (Door Panels - Gary's Garagemahal), for 1980 door panels the catalog says "except Explorer" and gives part numbers, but doesn't give numbers for Explorer panels. No where. But that plastic button in the middle of the material looks exactly like the Explorer hood ornament those trucks got.
Also, as David pointed out to me, the gray panels have the "mysterious" L and R molded into them. The plot thickens.

You're right. And it looks to me like the same funky hand written R and L that are on my oddball green door panels. Both are missing the jute sound deadener as well. For easy reference here is where I posted pics of my green panels:
