Installed LED's

Went LED on my '15 Platinum.
Headlights, foglights, cab, mirror and added the lit F250 fender badges.
Great looking set up, the stock look was fine but I saw this one a friend's and had to do it.

Sweet... I like the lighted badge emblem. Not something you see all that often.

I'll take one from the front after I clean the truck. The day I took this pic it snowed so my truck is filthy again. Hopefully I get it cleaned up this weekend, if it's warm enough. Supposed to see some rain and snow over the weekend.

who did you get the headlights and fogs from? Did you just do a bulb swap? I put in projector headlights in my truck and been thinking of swapping the bulbs for LED units.

Tried to take some pics this morn but it's too light out to get a good shot. I'll get some and post them when I can take a pic after the sun sets. All upgrades were RECON except the foglight bulbs. I'll have to pull the box out on that one as I'm not remembering the name on that box.

Nice!!

How do you like them so far?

What brand of LED's did you use? Are they just bulb replacement or projectors as well?

All were kits from RECON except the fog light bulbs. They were from accompany called LED.
All just bulb replacements except the lit up F250 emblem was a kit from RECON. Cab lights and mirror lights were they smoke lens covers/caps also from RECON.

Looks very nice...I've had my eye on a few different options. Stage 3 has just the fog bulbs for $40 or $99 if you step up to the brighter HP48 which is what I would most likely get.

I do see Recon has several typs of head light LED bulbs. Which part number is the stock replacement? H1, H7...etc ?

Which ones did you buy and are you happy with the light output? I put the spider projector lights in my truck so the light beam may be a little different.

Do you have any radio interference or problems with the led headlight bulbs? The truck looks amazing by the way, the leds give it such a clean look that halogens just can't provide.

I'll have to pull my receipt to view the p/n's I bought. A friend has a body shop so they ordered them and I paid them for it so I didn't put together the parts list.
No radio interference as of yet. Naturally I had them installed at a time of year I don't have to drive in the dark so I haven't viewed the spread/light coverage. I can say that I did this because I wasn't happy with vision of the stock headlights and foglights. I drove past a moose in northern NH at 5 am in February and didn't see it standing on the side of Rt. 3 but my passenger did and pointed it out. When I am not noticing a 1,000 lb. animal 20 ft. off the road that's an issue for me as those collisions don't end well. I got in a friend's F350 with this exact set up in early March and immediately noticed a difference. It seemed like his foglights alone did a better job that my factory headlights and foglights combined even though the fogs alone don't shoot far down the road. I had the same friend that ordered and did his do the exact same to mine, same parts. Once I drive them at night I'll get a sense to see if they need to be adjusted.

Any update on the light output? I am very curious as to how the LED bulbs do in halogen style headlights, and the foglights as well. Thanks!

Update on the lights -

Now that we are back into the "dark" time of the year my headlights are on regularly.
They definitely light up the road much brighter than my stock setup did. The brightness that I am looking at, from my seat out to the road, is considerably "whiter". Unfortunately for the drivers ahead of me on the road these lights light up their inside seating area and mirrors of their sedans profoundly. They are aimed properly, and they passed state inspection. They are just better at lighting up my path. I haven't yet had to use the fog lights. I have turned them on, just for comparison, and the LED fog lights do a better job lighting the road than my previous stock headlights did (That's embarassing to the OEM lighting). I have not had any oncoming traffic flash me thinking my high beams are on. Now that I have made this upgrade I am noticing how many other vehicles I pass have done the same type of upgrade. Once the snow flies and I start making regular predawn runs up north I expect to see a noticable difference on the back roads where there is limited street lighting. The downside that I will experience will be driving in snow and seeing if I have to stop and wipe the lenses occassionally since LED's throw no heat so snow and ice won't melt off the headlight buckets. That "experiment" is about 6 weeks out. Even if thaty becomes a challenge I believe the LED set up is a better decision for me based on the resuts to date.

Part #s?

I was curious as to which part #s you used in the bulb replacement. Looking for better lighting out of my 16 F250.
