I am wandering what radius arm bushings to go with. I have been looking on rock auto at the bushings and have seen that Moog has the "problem solver" ones that have a metal sleeve in them that's supposed to make them more durable and they have a couple different types of blue neoprene ones. One of the neoprene ones looks identical to the factory ones in shape and form an are $28.+ each side, then they have another neoprene one that comes in a set ( both sides) but, only one half of the bushing looks like the stock ones the other half looks kind of like a gear as it has like teeth on the outer edge of it. Does anyone have any experience with any of these sets? I was thinking of using the ones with the metal bushings but thought I would ask on here for advice on which ones to use first.
I always just get poly urethane. They last forever but may increase feedback from the road. In the past moog was always a quality product and couldn't go wrong!
No radius arms on these trucks. I assume you have an F250 and are talking about the D50 center pivot bushings?
no i have a 97f 350 crew cab dually. It has radius arms. I'm not sure what you call them but that's what myself and everyone else calls them and tht is what I look up the bushings for, its a radius arm. Here's a pic.
Yeah it's a 2 wheel drive. unfortunately they dident make trucks like mine in 4×4. I may end up swapping it one day if my auto trans goes out. I want to put a 5sp in it.
