Please help. Picked up a 1994 F-350 4x4 diesel 5 speed crew cab and been fixing things on it but I just can't figure this out. I've replaced the brake light switch on pedal and the turn/hazzard/wiper control muti-function switch on the column. I've removed all 3, yes 3! trailer light plugs the P.O. installed and removed/repaired/replaced all the screwed up wiring from all the trailer light stuff. There is no trailer brake controler in it now, but I think there used to be. I've looked for for wiring for a trailer brake controler to remove but can't find any. I don't know what else to do/ try/ remove. Suggestions?
Do they go out when you unplug the brake light switch? How about the multi function switch?
^ What he said. Check the brake light switch mounted to the metal brake pedal under the dash. If that isn't the problem there is most likely a short to power in the brake light circuit affecting both left/right sides before they split.
Trailer brake plugs into harness under dash on top of trans tunnel, its a 4 wire square plug. make sure there are NO plugs in it if there is no controller in cab.

The brake lights do NOT go out when I unplug the switch on the brake pedal. They DO go out when I unplug the multi function switch. I have replaced both the switch on the pedal and the multi function switch.
The hazard flasher is buried up in the passenger side somewhere if I remember correctly. You may have to remove the glove box to find it, but it's not the same as the turn signal flasher.
On a '94, the hazard flasher should be on the "blind" side of the interior fuse box. IIRC, only the '87-'91 generation had the hazard flasher over on the passenger side.
That poor flasher has been Ford's red-headed stepchild; for at least 18 model years, they couldn't come up with an accessible AND sensible place to put it.
