newbie needs help pulling diagnostic codes
I've got a 97 Explorer Sport 4.0 and my Check Engine light came on a couple days ago. I haven't noticed any changes in the way the vehicle runs, no change in gas mileage, etc. I want to know how I can pull the diagnostic codes myself without going to a dealer and where I can find what each code means.
