Question clutch cycle time

I have a 03 F-150 4.2L,how often should the A/C clutch be kicking on and off.If truck is 89 degrees inside the clutch is engaged for about 20 seconds and kicks off for 12 seconds does this seem right.

clutch cycle time

It cycles off suction side pressure. When it gets down to about 22-24 PSI on the low side it cycles off, and when it gets up to about 44PSI it cycles back on.

If it drops off real soon you likely are low on freon. You should get an AC diag for a true performance test. Ford dealers around here have a 35.00 special.
