Hi there I own a 72 f250 highboy with an adapter power steering system from a 75 f250 I believe. It has the bendix steering valve. I have been having problems with it and I want to get rid of it. I heard 1979 conversions are the way to go. But I dont know how to do this. Any suggestions? What parts do I need?

 

The 78-79' F250 4x4 gear box is the way to go. The fabrication is minimal and they fit well. I don't have any pics of mine but a search would prob show some.

 

Or you can get everything together with a Benchworks kit.
