Programming the clock

Okay this is a quickie. Can someone please tell new how to program the clock in a stock XLT? I see a rocker switch with auto/clk but holding down the button seems to do nothing. We're on the road and is driving me nuts.
Thanks!

For future reference, the tech folder (sticky at top of forum) has the owner's manuals available in PDF form. This is cut and paste from it.

To set the hour, press and hold the
CLK control and press SEEK:
•< to decrease hours and
•> to increase hours.
To set the minute, press and hold
the CLK control and press TUNE:
•< to decrease minutes and
•> to increase minutes.
If your vehicle has a separate clock
module, (other than the digital radio
display), the CLK button will not
function in the above manner.
