Pickup Bed ?
When was the cahnge made from the older bed style with round tail-lights and narrow tailgate like the 1959, to the type with rectangular tail-light and wider tailgate. I bough a !963 without the bed and am unsure of what type bed to look for. I've seen both bed styles on 63's.

As far as I know the "Styleside" type bed you're refering to was introduced in 64 and used thru 66. All the 63's I've seen had the flat sides and round tailights like the 57 - 60 style. Later,
