Hi quick question haynes says to use Hypoid gear lube in ford rear axles. I have a ford 9" from a 86 bronco (H6) and they also say mercon for my manual tranny 4 speed (A) which I think is a NP435?.
my buddies said to use a good gear oil 80w90 and change it once or twice a summer if Im mud boggin.I know I need the limited slip additive for the rear but can you tell me what I should use If I am going to change it every year I would rather buy a case of gear oil or do I need to use what Haynes recomends
any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks
