More Issues.

Posted below is the issue I have been dealing with for sometime now. However now I have a new issue related. I have been driving the truck now for over 3 months. Ran fine. Now on my way to work this morning fuse 24 (PDB) Went out and keeps blowing. Any ideas?

Hello this is my first forum read them all the time (it seems like) but never felt the need to post my issues. Till now! I have a 99 F150 5.4L and came across an issue i cant figure out. So here is the story. A few days ago my roomate needed a jump. So went and gave him a jump. On my way home i stopped at the gas station. Killed the truck went in came out hit the key nothing. Come to find out my - battery cable was loose tightened it up. She popped right off. I get back to the house wanted to go out back so i turned on the 4x4 and right after that truck started running extremely rough. Shut it off figured the battery connection was the issue. Put a new connector on the battery. Now truck is in Limp mode. Will idle fine but you put a load on it it kills. Put the scanner on it gives me shift solenoid A & B. ( p0755, p0750) Pressure control solenoid A short circuit (p1747) Torque converter cluck solenoid circuit electrical (p0743) also a 02 sensor heater (p0141 & p0161) Any input would great! Im not an elite automotive mind by any means i live on a small budget and do what i have to! I have a feeling this is an electrical issue just dont know where to start! Its hard to believe that everything went wrong in one shot. Please other ford lovers help a guy out! Thanks

I think the troubles started with a harness connector and have escalated to blowing the power distribution fuse for the transmission. inspect the wiring from each connection all the way to the main harness. Somewhere it's shorting to ground and blowing the fuse

Yes I ive tried that...the only complication I can find is the the tranny fill tube is hardly touching the rear o2 sensor (passenger side) could that cause it?

Yes it could be it if the insulation has worn off the wiring due to rubbing the fill tube. Do you have a meter to check resistance with?
