hey guys I am going to try and do a SAS on a 90s f150
i need to for light rock crawling and also everyday use. I go through some pretty uneven terrain for my job and also monthly trips
anyhow, i am not sure where to start or what is needed I was hoping someone can give me a list - i also have a mechanic helping me on this, but I want to research more about it
What year? If it is a 96 or older, you would probably get better information in the 87-96 Forum. I can almost guarantee someone there has done it, and I think it may have even been available under the F350 stock.
If it is a 97 or newer F150, it will require Frame Modification (maybe substantial modification) as the the IFS in the 97-up F150 uses a stationary differential that bolts into a frame cross member that also incorporates the mounts for the lower suspension A-Arms.
