I need to know what part and if it available for the part or parts that runs thru the end of brake pedal underneath my 1954 truck and also has the equalizer bracket fits on it. It bolts to frame then the other stuff slips on it. Mine is so rusted up and a lot of grease around it i cant tell. Also looks like the master cylinder end fits on it also. Thanks
Yes Harrier that's the part but on the inside of frame there is a bracket or bar that it call a equalizer bar that the clutch rod hooks in the bottom hole and the other end goes to the clutch fork. The another bracket bolts to 2 threaded holes on the 9 bolt side cover to stabilize it. I believe just the 53-56 bolted like this.
Here is another drawing with more of what you are talking about.
Are you looking for 2467? Possibly looking for the bracket that attaches to the transmission (not pictured)
Sorry, I'm not too sure exactly which one you are looking for. I can get the ford part number for any of these and that can help the search.
Just curious, brake pedal 2455 has 2 holes where pin #2489 slides through and holds the master cyl rod. Is the reason for two holes to allow the height of the brake pedal to fluctuate for shorter persons?
