7.3 Vs V10
Just wondering.............considering both trucks are stock, which engine is faster, 7.3L diesel or V10? . My buddy swears his V10 will smoke my 7.3. I'd race him but mine truck is modified, while his is stock. Sorta of an unfair advantage.

Well the v10 we had at work in an F-350 or 550(don't remember) and it would'nt go faster than 72 on the freeway ande was a gutless motor for anything. Try putting 5000 lbs on the flatbed and coming back from a gold mine on a 6% grade. it would only go 45 if that, and 5k isn't that much. I have seen close to 12k on a 7.3 do better than that. I would race that guy and blow smoke in his windows as you blew past him. people under estimate the power of a diesel!!

My buddy raced another buddy on there way back from Sturgis. John was driving his PSD 2003 model and Joey was driving his 2001 Prelude and john passed him at over 80 and walked away from him. They were going well over a 100 when Joey backed off. Oh I forgot to mention John was pullin a 22 ft enclosed car trailer with 7 Harleys in it.. hehehe.
