I am looking to replace my wheels on my 2001 F150 SuperCrew Lariat 4x4 with stock wheels
265 70 17
I have looked at several sites and they either don't list this tire size or they don't match.
Don't want handling or appearance changed...so
1) what's my offset?
2) what's my rim width? Have seen 7.5 and 8 for this truck...
If I wanted them to stick out slightly, what would be my max offset while avoiding changes in handling or tossing crap on my truck?
It's been awhile since I had my F150 of that year.... the aluminum wheels are usually 17x7.5 and the offset I am pretty sure is +5mm. You could easily go to a 0 or -6mm offset and not stick out much more.
I guess I could check the owners manual. LOL. I just checked my wife's Altima for something else, her offset is 45 and wheel width is 7 inches So I'm assuming the ford manual will have the information for my truck.
