Tires
Just bought a 2012 4X2 extended cab, going to need tires. Will probably just use for pulling camper, 700lbs on the tounge 5k trailer. Will not be out in the winter. Would the BFG long trail be a good choice?

I've had okay luck with BF tires, ride good but haven't lasted like I thought they should. Best I've ever had are Michelin. My F250 has about 90k on the set that's on there now and they still have some miles left. My first experience with them I was in question if they were worth the extra money. Ride quality and mileage speaks for itself.

The Firestone (Transforce) AT is the go to tire for commercial 3/4-1 ton vans in for fleets in the Chicagoland area. By my calculations, they run for 60K miles on a set of Truck tires...almost unheard of. Not an exact application match but a good point of reference.
Edit: They only run them about 7-8 months a year as they switch to winter tires but this is a guesstimate based on a local fleet manager.

I had seen the transforce, have to look again. looked at the Michelins (little out of my price range). Only drive trucks for camping mostly so about 2000 miles per year. Thanks for replies.
