96 ranger muffler?
looking to put a flowmaster muffler on my 96 ranger 3.0L does any one know the flowmaster that fits? thanks for any help

Flowmaster number for all 1995 thru 1998 3.0L for the 40 series is FLO942041.
Flowmaster number for all 1995 thru 1998 3.0L for the 50 series is FLO942051.

No they shouldn't make it sound like a ricer, I would not insult a Ford like that !! (LOL).
From what I understand the 40 series is the deeper sounding muffler.

It seems rangers are quite difficult to find exhaust for or a least the 2000 is. I need help I have a 2000 ranger with a shot cat and the only place I found is the dealer who wants a 1000.00 which I don't have. I have checked flowmaster, edelbrock etc I can't find anything for a 2000 can anyone give me some idea where I should be looking??

Check out www.a-1performance.com. They have Dynomax systems pretty cheap. A 2.25" cat back for my 97 is only $136. The cat is only $156.
Christine: Aren't most cats warrantied for 5yr/50k miles? Check www.fordpartsonline.com They show cats from $385 - $720 depending on engine and if it has CA emmissions.

96 ranger muffler?
For anyone who cares I just got my Gibson Swept Side Exhaust in today. Now I just need to find time to install it. If I can find a place with a dyno I want to get it tested before and after to see the results.
