Won't Start
I have a 1997 F-250 w?7.3 PSD. This morning it would not start. I drained the fuel bowl to see if the fuel pumps were working. NO! nothing. After trying all kinds of diagnostic stuff, I finally realized that the batteries were original. A quick trip to Wal-Mart for two new batteries and I am back on the road.
Moral of the story: look at the obvious, check your batteries and grounds.

Asked about it myself and they said at the parts store that when the PS uses both batteries it hits and holds 24 volts until released ,then by me running my batteries down that the starter had alot of lag on it trying to start for a while and it was burned up WELL thats what they said but it went out right after batterys so GL maybe just a fluk or just BS-

The PSD batteries are linked in parallel, 12 volts not 24. 24 volt systems would be linked from positive to negative and negative to postive IE in series. Parallel is positive to positive and negative to negative.
