Yup, that's a really nice one. Good thing I'm not knee deep in projects either. And of course I'd have to swap out that wanna be monkey face and those '69 vw look a like hubcaps for the real ford version. I could drop them on some Canadian and buy the ford stuff! Looks to be in REALLY nice shape! Thanks for posting, but maybe I wish you hadn't....
Cool!, another Pembina truck. Thanks for posting. I like the '57 Merc.
It is finally warm enough there to get those rigs fired up again.
I really like the 57, that's my favorite year of Ford pickup and I'm going to have another one, a Merc would be awesome. If I was 2-3 weeks further on and I had collected for some jobs I'm waiting on, I'd try and pull the trigger on the 57, cept it has a cheby engine.

Yes, the '57 is the coolest of that generation. I think the '59 would be next.
But the '57 doesn't have enough headlights... If any of you want a '60 panel you can pick it up in Anacortes Wa. for free. No money, and it has a clear Wa title. We have passed it from guy to guy but it isn't happening for us...
It's at a guys place in Anacortes... No ferry ticket. Ok, it belonged to Denny and then Denny moved to the mainland 30 years ago and and left it on his property, then Jay got it from him and I bought it from Jay for 300 bucks and then I traded it to Moose for mowing my lawn for the summer but Moose only did it twice so I repossesed it and then it sat at my place and Denny wanted it back so I trailered it to him when I was going to the mainland. Then Denny pulled the front clip to put in a v8 as it has a 223 six and a 4 speed synchro now. Well he got some more motorcycles and this is on the back burner so he emaild me if me or anyone wanted it it was free so just pick it up. I got the 223 running when it was here and it ran real sweet. Then I built a temporary driveshaft so it would propel itself and now it;s in Anacortes in Denny's way taking up space. The rear doors are on it and actually quite good and latch. Can't beat the price......
Wow, that panel looks pretty straight. Why does everyone lose interest after they own it? If I had time I would drag some jailbar stuff out there and trade you. Or you could buy the Merc tonner and I'd transport it, bring the panel back.

Now that's a good deal! I have only bid on ebay once and it was disheartening, as automatic bidders outbid me in the last nanoseconds. I really can't swing another purchase until I get the money together for my income tax. Everything is going in that direction. Anybody want a '68 BSA 441 Victor Special? Actually on the fence about selling that one. As for the losing interest part... It has never been offered up to the truck buying public. All these past owners have just dragged it home and they aren't really truck restoration enthusiasts. Most of us here on this forum have tackled way worse trucks and have been driving the wheels off of 'em.

Well, I'm waiting on the money from the IH Metro that's going to Hawaii. The guy won't be back from New Mexico to pay for the Dodge until Tue and I'm smack in the middle of moving 15 vintage travel trailers about 115 miles. If I had all that behind me, I might pop on one of those ND trucks.
I would have bought this one if I live where you are Gary.

If that had a 57 nose, I would be after it. Not too crazy about the 60 grille and the 57-58 hood is a lot cooler looking to me also. I like the ribs and absence of that busy little proboscis that protrudes down.
