That's all you have to do.

The harness hook-up is waiting for the tach.

Talking tachometer

I do not know about all year models, but I know from experience that the wiring for the clusters of a '93 and a '96 are different (despite the fact that my Haynes manual shows them to be the same). This small problem is easy to fix through the relocation of a couple of wires and a small amount of thought. In my situation the only difference was having to move the Red w/green stripe and the green w/red stripe to pins 1 and 14 on plug "A" (pin 1 on plug "A" was formerly unused and pin 14 contained an unused ground wire which I believe I moved to pin 11 [or was it 12?] on plug "B"). Anyway it is an easy swap and you will enjoy your "new" tachometer! Just be sure that everything is working properly before taking any long trips (like your alternator)!!!
