new tire recommendation

I'm running 285/70/17 bfg at .d rated . Looking for a new tire possibly different rating? I don't haul or tow. My issue with this tire is hiway speed wobble. Any insight?

wobble can be caused by a lot of issues
tire balance, loose front suspension parts, excessive play in steering box, bad front wheel bearings. The larger wheel/tire combo can magnify the problem.

Correct, wobble might not be from your tire. As far as tires go, Many different opinions you will get on that(sound like yoda there). I am a Cooper fanboy so I will recommend them. I am running the AT-3 on my truck. I love them. Much more open tread than I expected, look aggressive enough and ride great on the street. Also, made in America!! Looks like in your size they would be a Load Range E, which is 10 ply I believe.
