I trying to figure out how to run my traction bars up front with leaf springs. What have you guys done? My truck is a 1994 F250, F350 running gear, 7.3 idi turbo warmed up abit, 5 speed 4.10's, with a home made 1356/1345 doubler. I'm worried about having lots of wrap since the front is pretty soft. Its currently on 35's but plan on running 40 inch swamper's.
I agree with the previous. Do the same for the rear if you want one. That's about the most off road friendly way of doing one. Doesn't bind as bad, takes up less space and doesn't kill ground clearance.
I would be leaning towards a single anti wrap bar due to packaging. Something like this:
i can't see how this will work properly. the bar will want to move the axle forward under compression, but the spring and shackle will want to move the axle rearwards under compression.

That example isn't the best, really there should be a shackle at the frame mount to take care of that. That one may be on a shackle but it's not clear to tell for sure.
I would rather build it myself, I take pride in doing it myself as much as my gf hates it's "Why does everything have to be custom?!"
Yeah I do a lot of my own stuff too. Either it has to be custom because nobody makes it, I don't like what's available, or its not strong enough. I will admit, for that price I'd buy that kit over making one
.250 wall is pretty stout for a traction bar. Not a bad price either for a complete kit minus a cross member to mount it to.
A traction bar HAS to be stout. you would be amazed at how much twist s axle can actually have with large tires and good traction. I was using the Wagoneer to pull trees out of the ground, and the front tires would actually bob off the ground.. Bent my 1/4" thick bar. Had to sleeve it for extra strength.
