a little wiring help
i previously asked for help trying to find a wiring diagram for a 1994 ford explorer. i could not find anything specific enough, so maybe I should be more specific. i am trying to install an alarm/remote start on my explorer and i have figured out just about everything except for a couple things. i know one of them is which wires that come off the steering column under the dash correspond to what. i need to know which wire is for the acc mode, on mode, ect. i know if anyone here has any experience with remote start systems or anything, but i really like to learn stuff--which is why i did not pay to have it done. i could do it really quickly if i only know more about the wiring. any suggestions?

a little wiring help
from the ign. switch start pos. there is a red w/ lt. blue tracer to the starter relay, a brown w/ pink tracer to power distribution, a red w/ lt green to the interior fuse panel. from the ign. switch run pos. there is a grey w/ yellow tracer to the interior fuse panel, a brown w/ pink tracer to power distribution, a red w/ lt green to power distribution and a brown w/ pink tracer to interior fuse panel. not sure about the acc. pos. except that you should only have batt. power available at terminal 297 of the ign. sw. terminal guide when in the acc. pos. and that wire is red. hope this helps.

hey i just want to say thanks for the help. i have not been able to try it yet, but i want to say thanks. i think it will help a lot. i tried to send an email, but i guess i have not been a member here long enough, so i get to do it publicly. well, thanks a ton. i will let you know what happens.
