Turbo stuck?
I noticed there was no boost and it would only rev to 2.5 rpm. It slowed down going up hills and it took a long time to get it back up to speed (100 kmph).
I made it to work and parked. At the end of the day I restarted the truck and figured that something in the turbo might be stuck so I banged the housing with a hammer several times. Had no problem going home and been good since.
Ever since having used the hammer I noticed better fuel economy.
Is my turbo dying on me? Loose connector somewhere or not enough oil going up there? Or is it just dirty? any suggestions?

What year is the truck... those sound like signs of a failing HPOP as well, not just turbo.
BUT......I think I wrote too soon that everything was well.... My driver side tie rod just broke off while coming into town, couple blocks from home. just creeeeeped into my driveway. and my wife's van head gasket blew couple days ago
Now its me thats stuck. I upgraded the hpop stc fitting, oil rail plugs, new spectra oil cooler and ford gaskets.
Before I got the low boost event the day prior it was frigid -38 C and I dont think my block heater cord was getting any electricity but the truck did start after several cranks. The following day it was -30 and It had been plugged in all night so it started fine. I dont know if that may be something that triggered that event too.
The truck is a 2005 more than 255 000 kms on it. I finally replaced the tie-rod, this time a moog. Last one was replaced a year ago same side, I had bought it at napa.
Also replaced the obd fuse. It had a 15 amp but I placed a 20 amp on it fuse # 12.
Using the torque app I got 2 codes:
P2262: Turbo Boost Pressure Not Detected - Mechanical
P0336: Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance
B1352: null
When I accelerate on park, there is a small vibration as if one of the injectors is not pumping. I get blue smoke on cold start and when taking off from a stop. when the vehicle revs to change gears I'm thinking around 2nd-3rd gear change I also get blue smoke.
I replaced the oil yesterday and added some Hot Shot Secret stiction oil.
Problem now, still getting a P2262 (turbo boost not detected). On the highway my turbo spools in and out when needed (say going up hill). Some black smoke coming out as well but not all the time, mainly on low gears. It's difficult to get up to speed. I'm thinking the EGR Valve. I cleaned it yesterday it wasn't that dirty and it was dry.

Its not your EGR valve, but at least you cleaned it.
I had this same issue in Nov./Dec. 2015.
1. You could have cleaned your turbo and saved your money (more than likely), but maybe money isn't an issue for you, like it is for me.
2. Now that your having this same problem, and after installing a Powermax, I would see what your live data scanner reads with KOEO on the MAP, BARO, and EBP. They all should be with .5 of each other.
I think if you replace you EBP sensor and tube(tube is cheap), that you will have cleared your issue up.
When I ran into this problem, I cleaned ALL my sensors and nothing changed. Your EBP, if bad, will affect your turbos operating condition.
Good luck.

YES, I dont have a pipe on my engine it is a hose coming from the manifold up to the top of the engine where it connects to the sensor from a pigtail that connects from the wire harness.
I took the sensor off, it was plugged up. Part of the hose was too but the major plug was where the hose connects to the manifold. It was so clogged up that I had to drill the plug out. Like contact cement.
That solved my power problem right away. I'l just be sleeping in my truck for a few days until she cheers up.

Second, although tough to do sometimes, good for you coming clean with your wife!!! Much respect in that area of life.

Thanks - Preston
