Getting ready to order a new fan clutch for my 04, watched diesel tech Ron's video on changing it out, looks fairly straight forward. Any suggestions on which brand to get, go with OEM$$$ or something more economical...
Just was checking with you all (those that have done this before) if there is anything to pay particular attention too? Any potential problems etc...
I think Ron's video is is the easiest way of getting th job done. Be careful not to break the plastic piece where the fan clutch connector sits. If it does break be sure to fab up something solid, it would suck if the fan took out the wiring harness to the new clutch.
