What are your plans? Is the truck worth saving?

Not sure it is worth saving yet not enough info. Just want to find a 60 super duty and saw this one on Craigslist. Would like to find an F1000.

VIN tag. Would like to figure out what the original color 'S' special was to possibly get it back to it, was it this brown? I have seen a handful of 60 trucks this color but dont see it as a color option for this year. Thoughts?

Frame Rail VIN. Made sure since the VIN plate was moved from the glove box to the passenger door pillar. Maybe easier for freeway weigh stations? Either way it matched so that locked in the deal.

The biggest bummer about this truck is the engine is gone as the owner sold it a while back, i am trying to track it down to see if it was original if so i will see if i can buy it back.

I have one F750 insert for that badge, but will need restoration. That's a good looking truck. I also have a repair section for that front fender and roof skin if you need it.
Fuel tank:
E3HT= 1983 heavy truck part prefix but manufactured 1984
