Morning Todd. We could probably use a little rain here. Might get some overnight tonight. If nothing else, it'll wash the last of the salt off the roads.

A friend from work has had over 12" of rain. I have never seen anything like this. Bands of storms keep traveling thru the same area.

Made a road trip to Douglass Georgia Sunday. Came back Monday. Picked up a new enclosed trailer for my fiber optic splicing.

I learned a valuable and expensive lesson. DO NOT TRUST THE GREEN FUEL HANDEL! Pulled up at a BP station, grabbed the green fuel handle, hit the diesel button. While it was fueling I cleaned my windows and threw out travel trash. I then smelled gas. I pumped 27 gallons of super unleaded into my super duty.

3 hours later and 6 cans of gas syphiled out of my truck and we were back on the road. I was worried.

Holy Crap, Robert! I would have raised holy hell with that station, green is supposed to be used for diesel pumps only. Hopefully you got most of the gas out of it! Good lesson for us, though, to double check!

That sucks Robert. thankfully all mine are gas motors. I would assume being you got just about all of it out and you didn't run it you shouldn't have any issues with it.

Got it all out. Or most of it any way. I was worried. I raised hell. It didn't do any good. Seems to me that if I pressed the diesel button that it wouldn't pump gas. I know I hit the diesel button. Lesson learned.

I could not get out of my driveway till the water got low enough for me to see the culvert since they have not been in but 6 months. i had 2 ft of water going across my drive. Roads are bad with lots of damage. There will be more for sure when the water goes down. I'm staying dry. I'm about 200 ft above any water so my place will not flood. we got 12 inches so I know my place is above the flood line. Have a good weekend.

Howard glad to hear you are dry. The lake is getting high here. This place has never flooded before. If it gets too close I know where a track hoe and a dozer are. We will build a levee around the house.
