Trying to decode my 1966 Ford F 350.The vin number I have is : F35AL734324.The first three F35 must indicade it 1 ton truck.

F35 = F350.

A = 240 1V I-6.

L = Michigan Truck Assembly Plant.

734324 = 1966, assembled August 1965.

AXLE code stamped on the 2nd line-far right (see pic) of the Warranty Plate.
