speedometer again
I posted this before but need more info. I need to replace the speedometer in my 95 f-150 w/ tach. I got a price of 344 from the dealer and i might be able to get a slight discount because my uncle is doing it for me and he owns a body shop. Now my question is, what kind of options do I have, can i buy the elec. gauge from somewhere else? or should i just swallow hard and get the one from ford? It was originally going to be sent out to get fixed but the place that my mechanic was going to send it out to..doesn't do the fords and a few others. I don't know exactly why but something about because it's digital. So what should i do fellas?

go to the ford mans best friend. the bone yard. they could save ya some money. if not i suppose you will have to umm smile and take it like a man unless someone else can tell you different.
