Let two months slip by without starting a thread...don't want to get myself into trouble with the our new fearless leader. It's bad enough I drive one of those evil 6.0L
Fired up the rollback to go pick up some feed today. Had to put chains on just to get out of the yard. Now I just have to find a culvert to put in so I can drain the pond.
Yeah, but you were an hour early. I be first poster in March.
Had to get the jump on it...didn't want to screw it up again. Life's hard enough when you drive a 6.0L powered truck.

We watched some pretty wicked lighting last night as we headed toward KS. Don't think it ever rained that much...hard to tell from the cab. But it looked like the lighting might have set off a grass fire on the Osage Nation last night. Seen lots of smoke and the glow of the fire in the cloud cover, but can't find anything about it on the local (Tulsa area) news.
Anyone every drive a propane fueled truck? Im used to forklifts & what not but the crewcab I test drove yesterday seems like it got 'hotter' than what it should running regular gas. I know it could have problems but not sure of a pickup on propane. Probably didnt help that my foot stayed in it.

No, but I remember a conversation with my high school bus driver (about a million years ago). He didn't like like running the bus on propane either.
I guess Ma Nature finally found the right combo of meds. Beautiful weekend around here but expect that to go south tomorrow night. Forecast is for between 5-8 inches of rain this week. Sounds like I'll be parking the boat beside the steps again. Oh well, at least we won't have a hill to climb.
Well, looks like we'll be floating away soon, 4.25" of rain in the last 16 hours and much more to come.
At the park we've been busy getting ready for spring break, oh well, park will probably be closed due to high water for the second year in a row.
Guess that's the breaks of living and working on a river.
Uhg! A little over 8.5" of rain and the river is rising rapidly! If this keeps up I'll be putting stuff up on the deck tomorrow and stepping off of my steps onto the boat by Sat.

PLEASE STOP!!!!!!!!
Check that, water is already around the steps. Hope this stops soon or I'll be looking for help to raise a hot tub. :-(
