Years ago I asked my neighbor what it was like to be retired. He said it was difficult. Like every day was a Saturday.

A couple years ago my wife was unemployed for a Sumer. I was able to use that line, it is like each day is a Saturday.

 

I was off last summer for 9 weeks, when I had my knee replaced. It didn't suck at all.....LOL

 

I broke my ankle in December. I wasn't in pain, on crutches and hobbling around a lot. I was cleared for light duty. However, the bosses up the chain took their time allowing me to come back to work. I had 1,100 hours of sick leave and 220 hours of vacation. It was a long week for me.

I couldn't stand sitting around. Couldn't do anything with crutches. And it all took hours more than it should have.
