68 build

Some chrome goodies for later when its painted

Test fit of the bed... This will take some work as the frame is wider and the longer wheelbase. I still want to move forward another 3/4"

Wheels and tires, Hope they'll look ok

My brand new NV4500 with rebuild 205 ford T-case

5.9 Cummins test fit Need to do some floor and firewall adjusting

the cummins crossmember ill be using

I wouldn't worry about the 3/4". I think that looks good. I like the chrome wheel idea. Which caps you going to use?

Thanks...The bed gap is close to where I want it to be, so I may work on it a little more.. The rear axle is still in stock location but with the spring perches I purchased allows axle to be moved 1" forward or backwards to adjust wheelbase if needed..
I always liked those old chrome wheels so I figured they'd look good on the 68 with black paint and all the new ranger trim.
Probably won't run center caps, just have the hubs painted with chrome lug nuts..

The new front leaf springs will be here hopefully on friday so I can get truck leveled out

Are the spring perches you speak of an aftermarket part? If so do you have any more info on them?

The original poster hasn't been on this forum in over a year, and this thread's older than that.
