I would have to say an exhaust and/or ignition. These were the first two mods I did to my truck that helped alot. I run a Flomaster 3" to 2.5" dual exhaust and a MSD6AL ignition with Blaster 2F coil, along with MSD Pro billet distributor, 10.5 mm Ford wires and Motorcraft plugs. After I put these on I noticed a big difference, not so much in HP but how responsive she had become.

I wouldn't recommend the distributer if your stock one is in good shape. I too replaced my stock one with the MSD and noticed no difference at all. I believe that the stock one is just as good as a performance one as long as the rotor and cap are in good shape....

like the previous poster said. Go with exhaust first, then msd ignition box and coil, then a K&N filter!
