[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Feb-02 AT 09:19 PM (EST)]I own a 1987 F-150 with a 300 striaght six i was looking on the net at diffrent sites and looking at the rebuildt engines they have for a 1987 f 150 the 300 which i have a 302 and a 351 since the engine is listed for a 87 150 would that 351 fit in my truck?
Could i have my 300 rebuilt and get alot of horses out of it?
what kind of work would it be to change from the 300 to 351?

swaping in a 302 or 351 isn't bad at all.
Check out a couple posts about a week back, one "has anyone tried this" I think is the title, I posted how I converted mine.
best to get a donor truck and have at it, very easy.
